- LH French grip isolated finger exercise: IMRPA, quarter notes, 1 min each
- Simultaneous RH French grip all fingers and LH knitting kneedle all fingers.
- Eigth notes, 1 min

Notes: Go for control. Use 7A stick. Play HH quietly with snap. RH French grip, hold near fulcrum; LH German Grip, hold ~1/4 way down from tip.
